Parent Volunteers to help with Ceremony – please contact PTSA president.

Dress Code at Promotion Ceremony:

§         Students are required to wear a graduation gown (no cap or tassel).

§         School dress code underneath the graduation gown still applies.

§         There will be a minimal cost for the gown.  More details will be announced closer to the date of the ceremony (probably $15-20; significantly less than buying an expensive outfit for the occasion).

Certificates & Awards (in addition to the special awards listed earlier):

Students will receive (as they walk across the stage after having name announced) in/with a manila folder…

If a student has any outstanding books, unpaid fees, or unreturned uniforms, etc.; his/her report card and other documents will be held in the bookkeeping office until those obligations have been settled.  Please contact the bookkeeper to take care of this matter.

Summer School or Retained Students:

Check-out After the Promotion Ceremony:

If parents intend to check out students after the ceremony, a few things need to be done ahead of time to expedite the process:

§         The only adult who can check-out the student is a person named on the student data card in the front office.  That adult must show photo ID to verify identity.

§         If the adult checking out a student is not on the student data card, the parent must come in ahead of time with a copy of that other adult’s photo ID to clear him/her as a person who has authority to check out the child.
