Summer School or Retained Students:
Students who must attend summer school or are being retained will not attend the Promotion Ceremony. They will remain in a classroom under the supervision of a teacher.
Check-out After the Promotion Ceremony:
If parents intend to check out students after the ceremony, a few things need to be done ahead of time to expedite the process:
§ The only adult who can check-out the student is a person named on the student data card in the front office. That adult must show photo ID to verify identity.
§ If the adult checking out a student is not on the student data card, the parent must come in ahead of time with a copy of that other adult’s photo ID to clear him/her as a person who has authority to check out the child.
