Study Island is completely web-based. Students simply logon to www.studyisland.com to access the program. The program is organized into topics covering all of the Sunshine State Standards that are tested on the state-mandated Florida's Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) in grades 3 through 8.

The academic material is organized in topics which contain a lesson and assessment questions with explanations.

 

For each subject (math, science, and reading), the students must take a pre-test, complete all content groups covering all the Sunshine State Standards, and pass a post-test in order to complete the program.
